To be honest, I’m just glad they didn’t take the easy way out like Comcept seemed to and put it out back when they had finished the Shantae campaign ( technically speaking they had finished it over a month ago ) and put it out with it still full of bugs. And they had over 4 MILLION dollars given to them by backers to try to get it right. 9 put out a subpar, bland, mess of a game with Wii U copies bricking consoles, unplayable copies on steam and other systems ( depending on region and other things from what I remember ), and a host of other problems Day One. AND they did it with only 900,000$ dollars, which we backers generously gave because we believed in the team we were backing. They’ve delayed the game already several times or more because they wanted to make sure they had as much polish on it, and as few bugs, as they could. 9 and you start to see how much WayForward actually DOES care. Comparing Kickstarter campaigns and current results of campaigns, such as comparing Shantae’s Kickstarter to Mighty No. To try to compare Wayforward to Ubisoft, or Capcom or EA, just doesn’t work. I see a very distinct problem with your argument and it’s the simple fact that Risky Boots, Bolo, RottyTops, and Sky campaigns, among other things backers and non-backers are getting as DLC, were ALWAYS planned to be DLC, even as soon as they were introduced into the stretchgoals during the Kickstarter. <.< Īnd even if everyone did have internet and it’s speeds were the fastest ever… it should not be needed for a video game to be finished. ? What dose the year or internet speed have to do with anything? the fact is it shouldn’t be needed in the first place… and top of that just in the USA there is over 19 million people who don’t have high-speed. (Which to me don’t look as good as the sprites) So they should already got the idea and and skill to do better then this… unless they are becoming like EA and Ubisoft which with Shantae: Half-Genie Hero looks to be the case. I agree but this is wayforward’s 3rd Shantea game and they really didn’t change all that much other then the graphics. it’s not understandable… just delay it… and work on it until it’s done… done, done… nothing but ***-holes.< Shantae: Half-Genie Hero is a great game and would have been perfect… but Wayforward got lazy and money hungry for the Christmas sells that they released a unfinished game disc… and now DLC… awful Wayforward, just pure No?.

just because a “part” of the game is done, don’t mean it should be released… again “Mankind’s need for instant gratification is sicking”Ībout the bugs side… I do know no game can be perfect and me saying about the “bugs” was more used as a formality and I never claimed that Shantae: Half-Genie Hero was filled with bugs… and no matter the size of the patches there shouldn’t even be needing a patch and top of that… I like how people think you can just GET “better internet” or even get internet where you live…. Thank I do agree, I didn’t keep up with all the info about Shantae: Half-Genie Hero but that don’t change the fact there been many games before to have entirely different campaigns on the game day one… Resident Evil 2 and 6 had different campaign Megaman games even had different campaigns as well even lower indie games as well… We wait because the game is not done… simple as that….

Please, care about your product as a child, not as a object… Your better then this Wayforward… Don’t become the cancer of what AAA companies have become and their broken, half-*****, DLC filled insults of games.

If you still have stuff you want to add to it or some bugs then -> Delay. Was you really to lazy or didn’t care about making a good product? Right at start up I see a blank out Shantae wearing a pirate outfit with the words “Coming Soon!” I just got the game “Shantae: Half-Genie Hero”Īnd right as go to new game I see the game is not done.
